Ascalon is the western, temperate continent. Mainly consisting of deciduous forests, it can be accessed by the port on Aladra.
Birch trees are native to Ascalon, as well as cows and rabbits. Towns and cities of Ascalon are renowned as producers of leather. Settlers to the western continent can farm wheat and carrots, and catch blue cod in the Sunset Sea.

Biomes[]
The continent of Ascalon is home to temperate biomes.
Birch Forest[]
The Birch Forest is a large biome filled with oak trees, birch trees. Cows, chickens, and rabbits wander in abundance. Many grasses and flowers grow here as well. The Port to Aladra is located in the Birch Forest.
Forest[]
Similar to the Birch Forest, the Forest is a biome mostly covered in great trees. Only, there are no birch trees in the Forest. Flowers can be found here as well, and animals and monsters roam the ground other the trees.
Flower Forest[]
Very alike the Forest, the Flower Forest is covered in flowers of all kinds! Unfortunately, many flowers have been harvested by travelers and explorers.
Dark Forest[]
The Dark Forest has denser foliage than the other parts of Ascalon, making it dangerous for unprepared Lokans.
Plains[]
A wide expanse of grassland, the Plains of Ascalon are a great place to find carrots, horses, cows, chickens, and rabbits. A few rivers cut through the terrain, allowing sugarcane to grow.
Marsh[]
The boggy lowlands of Ascalon offer little in the way of beauty, but lots of sugarcane can be found here.
Mountains[]
Although not as expansive as the Ice Mountains of Kalros, Ascalon's highest peaks do still experience occasional snowfall.
Clay Cliffs[]
Ships that do not dock at Ascalon's Port risk being shipwrecked on the towering cliffs of clay and stone.
Wheat Fields[]
Fields of grain and sunflowers stretch for miles, a haven for hungry travelers.
Ancient Forest[]
This forest has remained untouched for centuries, only discovered recently by adventuring Slicers. Trees grow tall and densely here.
Sunset Isles[]
Picturesque green islands stretch for miles into the Sunset Sea, boasting white beaches and palm trees.
Mushroom Isle[]
A mysterious island, said to be populated only by fungi. Only the most hardy explorers will discover this obscure location.
Sunset Sea[]
The calm seas surrounding Ascalon are populated by shoals of blue cod.
