Loka's chat is unlike other Minecraft server's chat. They feature custom colors that are better looking than the old colour code of Minecraft. To see a list of all existing chat the command /ch can be used. From there your can quit or join certain chats that you are not interested in seeing. There are also special Chat Zonesw for different areas depending on their purpose, that players can even set inside their own town however they wish.
Loka has multiple different chat channels for players to talk in:
A global channel that spans the entirety of the survival server. It doesn't connect to other worlds such as the PGs or any other mini-games. It displays the rank of the players along with some basic information upon hovering that rank.
Use /ch p to switch to the Public Chat, or /p to send a single message without switching channels
Local-area chat that can only be heard by players within a 100 block range.
Use /ch l to switch to Local Chat, or /l to send a single message without switching channels
A channel dedicated to asking and answering questions about Loka for those who want to learn. Can be joined and left via the chat menu (/ch) and clicking on the Guide Chat corresponding button. Once joined, it can be accessed on the Loka discord (channel #guide)
Use /ch g to switch to Local Chat, or /g to send a single message without switching channels
A chat channel that can be seen only by players worshipping a same religion. Can be joined and left via the chat menu (/ch) and clicking on the Religion Chat corresponding button.
Use /ch rl to switch to Local Chat, or /rl to send a single message without switching channels
A chat specifically for members of the same town. Members of a town with corresponding permissions can set a /title to members. can be accessed through the Loka discord (Ex. #cooltown)
Use /ch t to switch to Local Chat, or /t to send a single message without switching channels
A chat channel just for the same Alliance. Titles can also be set in this channel and the town the player is in will be shown before their name. It can be accessed through the Loka discord (Ex. #epicalliance)
Use /ch a to switch to Local Chat, or /a to send a single message without switching channels
A chat channel just for new players to ask questions within the intro course. Once you leave the intro course, you lose access to it. Unless you are promoted to a Slicer or Sentry. Can be accessed on the Loka discord for Slicers and above (channel #intro). To send a message to the Intro chat, use the /i command.
