Loka Community Representative

Community Represenatives are a group of player-elected representatives from within the active community that participates in higher-level discussions about the server. As a representative, you will have the opportunity to help give direct feedback and advice on server features as well as having an open channel to bring up issues or concerns. Representatives will have access to a channel and voice chat within the Loka Discord to have direct communication with Head-Staff (The Elders). Additionally, LCRs will have access to a specific forum where they can post threads about upcoming topics. Only LCRs will be able to create posts in the subforum, but all players can reply to threads there as usual.

Expectations

1. A regularly active member of the community.
2. Represent the views and interests of the community.
3. Engage respectfully with other representatives, the community, and the staff team.
4. Make every reasonable effort to show up to LCR meetings.
5. Ensure privacy of any information regarding upcoming features that you may be asked about, otherwise, most things will be open for representatives to share with the community.

Requirements

• Must not be muted.
• Must not have been banned recently.
• Must follow the application template.
• Must be considered active over the past 3 months (same check for voting)
• Must not be a Guardian.
• Must be able to communicate well in English.
• Must be able to listen to VC meetings and respond via text (ideally talk in them)
• (If running again) Have reasonably-well participated in past rounds through discussion, VCs, or attending meetings.

History

Community Representatives Round One

• The LCR application went active on August 19, 2019.
• The First LCRs were marblesack12, Qfu, Kxph, and spiderm3n.
• The First Sentry LCR was Thanius.
• The First Guardian LCR was Sparky.
• Sentry and Guardian LCRs were removed on December 29, 2019.

Community Representatives Round Two

• The LCR application went active on December 28th, 2019
• The Second LCRs were ArcherSquid, jibblypop, Jammin_Mas, and Steve5729

Community Representatives Round Three

• The LCR application went active on April 29th, 2020.
• The Third LCRs were ArcherSquid, HEYDOOD, Skuhoo, SilentStormSix, and FroggyFruit.
• ArcherSquid became the first LCR to serve two terms.

Community Representatives Round Four

• The LCR application went active on September 22nd, 2020.
• The Fourth LCRs were FoxyBearGames, Sokou, BobbyRavioli, FoundProperty, McDanky, and SayreSlayer.

Community Representatives Round Five

• The LCR application went active on Janurary 29th, 2021.
• The Fifth LCRs were FoxyBearGames, Lurnn, SilentStormSix, LostProperty, and BobbyRavioli.

Community Representatives Round Six

• The LCR application went active on July 7th, 2021.
• The Sixth LCRs were FoxyBearGames, lilfros, Lurnn, bat3415, and LostProperty.
• FoxyBearGames and LostProperty became the first LCRs to serve three terms.

Community Representatives Round Seven

• The LCR application went active on January 11th, 2022.
• The Seventh LCRs were ThePigGang, Vescure, lilfros, hxfr, 3D3R, and Piruletaas
• Since the Seventh Round of LCRs, Guardians have not been permitted to run for the position.

Community Representatives Round Eight

• The LCR application went active on May 26th, 2022.
• The Eighth LCRs were SecretPhoned, LobsterLarry, ArcherSquid, Tqmen, and ThePigGang.

Community Representatives Round Nine

• The LCR application went active on January 24th, 2023.
• The Nineth LCRs were 3D3R, HyperTotodile, Wqnderr, Dae_, Piruletaas, and SilentStormSix.

• The LCR application went active on November 27th, 2023.
• The Tenth LCRs are ChickPro, ArcherSquid, scotrian, Zachary_N_Kaleno, and Inapplicable.
